Design.

Hi, I'm Ray. With over 25 years of experience in graphic design, I have the skills to help you resolve your creative needs.

That's me and my dog, Cowboy! We are new resident's to Albuquerque, New Mexico. We would love to help design your logo, website or brochure. And anything else you need! Actually, I do most of the work, but Cowboy is always by my side. Recently, I acquired my Q-Level security clearance to perform contract design work for Sandia National Labs.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

What type of projects do you take on?

I usually work with B2B corporations, either on the branding side, or building and maintaining design standards. But I also want to do more UI and Product Design work. And I'd love the chance to work with a consumer facing brand.

What is your hourly rate?

To keep it simple, my hourly rate is $55/hour. Sometimes a little more, sometimes a little less. But ideally, I want to find a full-time creative role and find a long term relationship with a big brand.

What time-zone do you work in?

I am in the Mountain time zone. Which is often forgotten about, haha. But I can work in the Central, Mountain or Pacific time zones depending on the workload.

What is the typical timeline for a project?

Depends on the scope of the project, really. Some projects take less than a week. Some take months. The best way to find out is to get on a quick call with me, and discuss it. No strings attached!

What is your primary skill as a designer?

I have a long track record of creating impactful designs for my clients. I love branding and designing logos for my clients. But I'm also growing as a UI designer.

What does your design process look like?

I take a problem-forward approach. Whether we're iterating on an existing product or building a new one from scratch, how to solve the user's problem in the simplest way possible is my first concern.

Send me an email to understand my process in depth!

What metrics do you use to measure success?

The best metrics are customer adoption, happiness, task success, and engagement. There are a number of frameworks such as the System Usability Scale that help us understand product performance and I'm happy to help with that.

What if I need help after the project is complete?

I always make sure to help out my clients one month after the project ends, for free. For any help post that, we can work out an ongoing arrangement!
